8inch High Brightness and High Contrast Touch Screen Monitor and Mounting System to allow Notebook PCs to be used in the car easily!

The Easy PC View system comprises the components required to turn your notebook PC into an easy to use in car Navigation system. No longer do you have to worry about how to mount your laptop in the front of the car - the Easy PC View system provides the perfect interface to your notebook PC!

There are three standard components to the Easy PC View system

1. An 8 inch high brightness and contrast touchscreen monitor and custom wiring harness to connect to the notebook PC which allows you to control the PC from the screen via touch.
2. A sturdy but flexible boom mount for the monitor that bolts to the passenger seat bolt via a universal bracket suitable for all vehicles.
3. A specially designed seat-back bag that mounts your notebook securely to the back of the passenger seat, but lets the processor breathe so it won't overheat.

*Please note - you require your own Notebook PC to use with this system and a GPS unit connected to it. We recommend and use Memory Map software.*

Features

The industrial spec monitor uses the latest in LED backlit LCD technology, with a high brightness (450nits) and high contrast (500:1) LCD panel to make sure it is readable outdoors. This is a high quality monitor, unlike any cheap 8 inch monitor you may have seen before for sale on eBay. It has been developed and sourced specifically by Aussievan products for in-car use in Australia's bright ambient light conditions and is very durable with high tolerance to vibration.

The monitor has triple RCA video input (for DVD player or reversing cameras), VGA input, USB for touch screen and dual sound input in a very neat single cable arrangement. It also has adjustable brightness, contrast and colour saturation. It integrates perfectly with Aussievan's reversing camera wiring harness and cameras and can be used to display the image from up to two reversing cameras as required.

The flexible mounting boom provides a sturdy and easy way to mount the monitor over the centre console of any vehicle. It uses an adjustable ball mount to allow the monitor to rotate and be held at any angle for viewing by the passenger or driver, and bolts securely to the universal seat bolt mounting bracket of Aussievan's own design. The flexible boom allows the monitor to be positioned well out of the way of the front passenger airbag, and there are no sharp edges on the monitor, bracket, or boom to reduce any risk of injury in an accident.

The unique seat-back laptop bag is made of high quality UV resistant materials, reinforced with aluminium struts to maintain its shape on the back of the seat. It utilises a secure strap system to attach it to the seat back of any vehicle, and the pockets in the bag seal with industrial strength velcro closures to keep the laptop and 12v power supply secure when using off-road. The mesh outer layer of the pockets allow the laptop processor to breathe to prevent overheating.

The Easy PC View kit comes complete with all brackets, monitor, remote control, cables, seat-back notebook bag and comprehensive installation instructions, and is covered by a 12 month warranty.

Easy PC View Options

• BD-52 - Miniature Magnetic USB GPS receiver with SIRF III Chipset - this is the smallest GPS available today for use with Notebook computers and can be used in lieu of a hand held GPS connected to your Notebook. It is magnetic and weatherproof and will remain in place on the roof of the vehicle at highway speeds. It is also Compatible with Ozi-explorer and Travroute Copilot 10 software and connects to the Notebook via USB.
